from alvin pee's blog...i've thought abt this before..and i nv came up with an answer..but i guess...wat's there to compare? we're both missing each other aren't we? and that in itself is already the hardest part...
when she's not around i wonder who gets the worse end of the deal. is it better to be lonely in a strange place, or to walk around and see shadows of the past trail behind you with every step that you take. would it be better to wonder how things are "back there", or try and fight the tears as i reminicise about how cute you looked in those heels, this top, that dress, eating the wontons, etc. i doubt there's a place in singapore i could walk around in and not get emotional thinking about her. heck, she was the one who suggested the crumpler, chose the reef flipflops, found the best deal for my psp, bought me the 150-dollar earphones. she's everywhere in my room; that's her, sleeping beside me, that where she always puts her bags, and that's where the clothes inevitably get strewn to. i remember how she used to spray her perfume all over my pillow just to prove a point, how she always looked so beautiful under the filtered sunlight.
so is it better to live with all of this, or live to see new things, do new things?
