a seemingly harmless question. how much is your share.

i admit i may not have been through as much hardship as you. i admit that i can't understand what you're feeling or what you're going through. but how much is my share? you think God's been unfair to you? you think i've had an easy life? how much is my share?

when i think back, it is true. God has blessed me in many ways. but there have also been countless trials and valleys in my life. mayb to you these valleys are only like tripping stones along the way. but to me they were dark paths where i lost hope and faith. how much is my share?

you say you hate people who keep saying such things like 'as long as you keep praying, things will be ok.' well. i abhor ppl who keep feeling sorry for themselves and thinking that they have such a bigger burden than anyone else. it's true that when you're in that valley you can't help but feel so small and sorry for yourself. but to reject advice to keep praying about it, i think that's so wrong. i'm not angry with you. dun get me wrong. i'm just. burdened that people dun trust God enough that He's in control. and that they think God's being unfair. and they got the worse deal. how much is your share?

today jesher left his burden at the foot of the cross. it was a heavy and risky burden to leave there. but. nonetheless. he left it there. couldn't you do the same? how much was his share?
